Dr. Nguyen Hong Phuong presented a paper at the 2024 Education Symposium in Bhutan
Bhutan, June 5, 2024 — In an effort to reshape education in the 21st century, the 2024 Bhutan Educational Symposium brought together 250 participants from 35 countries, including the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Singapore, and Vietnam. The event provides a creative space for running to meet, share, and learn, all within the framework of Gross National Happiness (GNH).
Among the distinguished representatives were Dr. Nguyen Hong Phuong, Director of Training at FSB Ho Chi Minh, who was one of 70 delegates from Vietnam. Dr. Nguyen Hong Phuong presented a compelling paper at the international symposium titled “Reshaping Education from the Perspective of Gross National Happiness (GNH).”
During her presentation, Dr. Nguyen Hong Phuong highlights the practice of mindfulness that the FPT School of Business & Technology (FSB) has integrated into its MBA program since 2020. The course, “Self-Management for Success,” has received high praise from students for its effectiveness in helping them unlock their potential and manage various aspects of life to achieve happiness and success. Her paper offered innovative solutions to the issues discussed at the conference and showcased the success of FSB’s training programs.
Dr. Kezang Sherab, Program Director of the Faculty of Education at the Royal University of Bhutan, expressed admiration for Dr. Phuong’s work: “My colleagues have spoken highly of your paper. It’s a wonderful initiative, and they greatly appreciate it!”
The symposium, designed to foster creativity and collaboration, saw diverse strategies discussed to create a comprehensive, sustainable, and integrated education model. Dr. Nguyen Hong Phuong’s presentation was a standout, significantly contributing to the discourse.
