Management workshops at FSB – Connecting knowledge and practical experience for future leaders

13/01/2025

At FPT School of Business & Technology (FSB), monthly management workshops are held to provide an in-depth learning environment and the latest knowledge for students of the SeMBA (Master of Business Administration) program, MSE (Master of Software Engineering) program, and the international joint Master’s program with Leeds Beckett University (UK). These workshops are invaluable opportunities for students to enhance their professional skills while gaining insights into modern management trends through sharing sessions with leading industry experts.

Diverse topics, practical knowledge

The workshops cover a wide range of topics, providing both theoretical and practical insights. Participants can explore Vietnam’s economic landscape, stay updated on the latest trends in artificial intelligence (AI), and delve into the art of leadership and crisis communication management. Additionally, workshops address specific issues such as tax and labor law while introducing advanced management methodologies like 5S and Kaizen. These sessions are designed to equip attendees with knowledge that can be immediately applied in their professional environments.

Reputable speakers – Value from real-world experience

Over the years, FSB has welcomed many renowned speakers, including:

Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Vice Chairman of the FPT University Council

Mr. Minh Beta, Chairman of Beta Group and Harvard MBA alumnus

Mr. Can Van Luc, Chief Economist of BIDV

Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Ha, Chairwoman of FPT Software

Ms. Ha Thi Thu Thanh, Chairwoman of Deloitte Vietnam (known as the “Iron Lady” of the auditing industry)

Mr. Vo Van Khang, Vice President of the Southern Vietnam Information Security Association

Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen, Deputy General Director of FPT Retail

Each speaker offers profound perspectives and practical experiences, ranging from driving technological innovation and developing financial strategies to leading in volatile environments.

Learning opportunities and expanding professional networks

After each workshop, students not only gain in-depth knowledge but also learn how to effectively apply it in their organizations or businesses. The program requires students to attend at least two workshops per semester and a total of eight workshops throughout the course, with a minimum of four attended in person.

We encourage students to make the most of the opportunity to interact with speakers and expand their professional networks. These direct exchanges and multidimensional interactions serve as a critical foundation for both career and personal development.
