FSB and Leeds Beckett University: Strengthening Partnerships – Expanding the Future of Global Education

From May 5 to 7, 2025, the FPT School of Business & Technology (FSB), FPT University had the honor of welcoming a delegation of senior experts from Leeds Beckett University (United Kingdom) during their visit to FSB’s campuses in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho and Da Nang. This visit marked an important step in the ongoing strategy to enhance international collaboration between the two institutions, featuring a series of meaningful and impactful activities.

Representing FPT University and FSB were: Dr. Le Truong Tung – Chairman of the University Council, Mr. Ha Nguyen – Head of Quality Assurance, FSB Hanoi, Dr. Doan Xuan Huy Minh – Head of Quality Assurance, FSB Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Nguyen Hong Phuong – Chief Wellbeing Officer, and Dr. Tran Minh Tung – Acting Director of FSB Da Nang.

Representing Leeds Beckett University were Professor Dr. George Lordofos – Dean of the Business School, and Mr. Garry Carr – MBA Programme Director.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation toured the FSB/FPTU campus, met with faculty members, current students, and alumni of the Leeds Beckett–FSB joint international MBA program. They also held in-depth discussions with FSB leadership to explore strategic directions for future collaboration. At Can Tho, Da Nang campus, the delegation reviewed and strengthened the implementation framework of the program and worked closely with FSB leaders on collaborative plans for 2025.

Throughout the visit, both parties organized several key activities, including engagement sessions with Executive MBA faculty, high-level strategic dialogues, professional development exchanges for lecturers, and meetings with students and alumni of the LBM program, along with site visits to FPT’s campuses in both cities.
